INXS was an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1977. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist Michael Hutchence, guitarist Tim Farriss, bassist Garry Gary Beers, drummer Jon Farriss, and keyboardist Andrew Farriss. INXS became one of the most successful bands to come out of Australia, achieving worldwide fame and acclaim for their unique blend of rock, new wave, and pop music. The band's charismatic frontman, Michael Hutchence, became a symbol of rock stardom with his enigmatic stage presence and sultry vocals.
